OBJECTIVE: CNC Programmer / Set Up Machinist leading to Management

SALARY REQUIREMENT: $5.25 per hour plus benefits

IDEAL JOB: Programming and/or set up of CNC machines in a prototyping or pre-production type environment with expertise in program optimization for production efficiency working with engineering staff and management to increase product throughput and profits for the production of tight tolerance, high quality parts eventually leading to a management position with engineering duties for manufacturer of variable quantity, large and small parts in metals, composites, wood products or plastics using CNC lathes, mills, or routers.

Manual machine experience includes swiss lathes, engine lathes, drill press, belt and disc sanders, and surface grinders.

CNC machine experience includes 2 axis lathes, 3 axis mills, 3 axis routers, 4th axis rotary tables, 5 axis mills, and 5 axis routers.

Machine brands include Bridgeport, Cincinati, Clausing, Haas, Hardinge, Homag, Komo, Leadwell, Maho, Mazak, Morbidelli, Mori Seiki, Motion Master, Northwood, Okuma, Point, and Yasnac.

Workholding includes typical clampling, vises, chucks, collets, and vacuum tables, vacuum tools, magnetic, gravity and inertia.

CNC programming (CAD/CAM) experience includes AutoCAD (up to 2000), TekSoft, ASPAN, RouterCIM, and WoodWOP.

Proficient with personal computers, Word for Windows, Excel, Netscape, and Internet. Special training in technical writing.
